Is BiritKaraoke free?
Yes — completely. No account, no subscription, no install. Open the site and start singing.
How do I start a session?
Tap "Open a room" and you get a six-character code. Anyone with the code — or the QR — joins instantly.
Are there ads?
None. Songs are downloaded to the host device and played straight from disk, so there is no embedded video player that could serve one.
Are downloaded songs kept?
No. Every file is deleted the moment its song ends, is skipped, or leaves the queue. Crash leftovers are swept automatically.
How do I find a song?
Tap "Add a song" and search by title or artist — we look for karaoke versions, not the original recordings. If you already have a specific link, the Paste link tab takes it.
What devices work?
Any modern browser. Put a TV, laptop, or tablet on the big screen and let everyone else follow along on their phone — every device plays the same video in sync.
Do I need to install anything?
Not to sing. Whoever hosts the server needs yt-dlp and ffmpeg, since songs are fetched there.
